We’re pleased to announce that our popular Twitter client for iPhone and iPad, Twitterrific, was named in Macworld’s 2010 App Gems Awards yesterday. The awards are broken out into several categories including best games, best media and photo and best productivity apps. To our surprise and delight, Twitterrific took home the “Twitter Client of the Year” award in the productivity category.
It’s always gratifying to be recognized for excellence, but we’re also pleased that one of the factors cited by Macworld’s Dan Moren in his review was Twitterrific’s ease of use. This year’s primary goal for Twitterrific was to make the app more accessible, unified and user friendly. This principal is also guiding the final stages of development for the long-awaited Mac 4.0 update which will be arriving early next year.
Our thanks go out to Macworld as well as all the other winners of the Mac Gems awards. We’re pleased to be in such great company as The Coding Monkey’s Caracassonne and Big Bucket Software’s The Incident. Onward and upward!
