iPhone and iPod touch users are discovering the frantic fun of our latest application, Pickin’ Time. This elimination-style game pits you against Harold the Bunny or up to 21 of your closest friends as you race to pick vegetables as fast as you possibly can.
Now, Iconfactory artist David Lanham is pleased to bring the illustrated veggies of Pickin’ Time to your desktop in the form of this week’s freeware icon release. All 21 veggies are here, from the dreaded cabbage to everyone’s favorite fruit, the strawberry. As an added bonus we’ve posted a short video on YouTube showing how David “grew” the vegetable icons for Pickin’ Time. If you’ve ever wondered what goes into the artwork behind our software, you’ll want to check it out.
Don’t be caught lollygagging around the farm, head on over and harvest the Pickin’ Time icon set for your Mac, PC or as a handy CandyBar iContainer today. Then visit PickinTimeApp.com to learn all about the game, view screen shots and more. Pickin’ Time is available today from the App Store for $1.99.
UPDATE: The web magazine Playgrounder has featured Pickin’ Time and will be giving away 5 free copies beginning at noon est. Follow @ThePlaygrounder on Twitter to earn a chance to win a free copy of Pickin’ Time for iPhone from the U.S. App Store.
