The Chameleon Project
March 22, 2011
We try to keep these news blurbs focused on things that are of general interest: products, icons, desktops and such. Today, we’re going to break with that rule because we’re very proud to announce something of interest to Mac and iOS developers: The Chameleon Project.
Chameleon is an application framework that makes it easier to bring your iOS app into the world of the Mac. We developed it while creating the Mac version of Twitterrific.
If you’re a developer or just curious how we created one of our apps, please take a look. Thanks!

The History of Software at the Iconfactory
March 11, 2011
You may have noticed we’ve been releasing lots of software updates recently. There’s no doubt we’ve been busy bees and the best news is there’s still lots more to come. With the increased focus on software, Gedeon thought it would be fun to take a look back at where we’ve been in the last five years and where we’re heading.
The result is a timeline snapshot of software development at the Iconfactory from 2005 to present. We’ve pushed a ton of pixels and written more code than we care to admit, but it’s all worth it. We love what we do and we’re gratified that you enjoy our efforts. As always we thank you for your support and look forward to all new journeys together as we move into the future. Onward ho!
