With the eyes of the world turning to Italy, we are proud to bring you this week’s freeware icon collection – Torino 2006. This latest creation from Iconfactory artist Talos Tsui is a collection of glyphs used at this year’s winter games. Based on original creations from design firm IconoLogic, these icons are translucent white and are designed for use on medium to dark backgrounds. Because of this they may appear missing when you unstuff the downloaded archives. We are also offering the perfect desktop pictures to serve as a backdrop for this set, so head on over and check them out. Torino 2006 is being offered for the Mac, PC or as a handy Pixadex iContainer. Enjoy the set and the rest of the games!

Iconfactory artist Kate England is pleased to release this weeks’ freeware icon set, Valentine’s Day ‘06. Nothing says I love you like a box of chocolates and hand-picked flowers, so head on over to the Showroom and pick up a treat for that someone special in either Mac, PC or iContainer format!

This week’s freeware release brings even more depth to one of our popular system replacement sets. Agua Extras vol.1 extends David Lanham’s Agua set, and includes a wide variety of folders, badges and other goodies. And if that’s not enough, David has also updated the original Agua set with hard drive icons and folders that work better on white backgrounds. The Iconfactory assembly line is back up to capacity and we are pleased to announce our first freeware icon set of 2006 – Warcraft: Volume 1. Resident iconist Dave Brasgalla has turned his (and our) love of the ultra-popular MMORPG from Blizzard Entertainment into a cool new icon set for your Mac or PC. If you love Warcraft or just fantasy in general, you’ll want to head over to the Showroom and loot them now.
