To help celebrate our annual spooky makeover, we’re pleased to announce October’s first freeware icon release – Eat Me. With the Athens Olympic games behind us and winter approaching, Iconfactory artist Talos Tsui thought it was a good time to finish and release his latest set of freeware icons – Salt Lake City 2002. Talos had started this collection during the winter games in Salt Lake, but put the set aside until recently. This week’s icon release is very loosely related to Anthony’s Jolly Roger release from last week. Inspired by the Marion family’s summer trips to the Outer Banks we present Corey’s tribute to the majestic light stations of the North Carolina coast – NC Lighthouses. From the tiny Ocracoke Island light to the nearly 200 ft. tall Cape Hatteras light, this set covers all seven major lighthouses along the coast.
