xScope 2.2 Now Available

We are pleased to announce the immediate release of xScope 2.2 for Mac OS X. xScope has been hailed by designers and developers around the world as one of the most useful tools for measuring and aligning on-screen graphics. xScope 2 introduced powerful new features including the Dimensions tool which eliminated the need to take screen grabs and measure them by hand. Now ARTIS Software and the Iconfactory are pleased to bring several important improvements to the features and tools of xScope 2.2:

  • Global hotkey to copy the color under the Loupe to the clipboard
  • Dimensions tool preference to display aspect ratios
  • General pref to add screen captures to the clipboard for pasting
  • Function keys F17 to F19 can now be used as hotkeys
  • Plus more improvements

xScope 2.2 is a free update for registered users of version 2. The software is available today to new users for $26.95 USD. Registered users of version 1.x can upgrade to version 2.2 for $10.00. We’re pleased to announce that along with the long-awaited release of Twitterrific 2 for the iPhone, we also launched something that’s been in the works for many months – The Iconfactory Store.

We’re pleased to announce that Corey, Talos and Ged will be attending tonight’s Triangle Tweetup event in Durham, NC to demo Twitterrific v2.0 for the iPhone. The event has grown in size in recent months and is a great opportunity for Twitter users all across North Carolina to get together, share Twitter tips, meet people face to face and much more.

Along with the many great panels, door prizes and demos that will be given at the event, we’re proud to be able to present the first public glimpses at Twitterrific 2 for the iPhone and iPod touch. All of us here at the Iconfactory have been hard at work rebuilding the application from the ground up and now, as it nears release, it’s time to let the bird take flight.

Attendees to the Tweetup will have a front row seat to the demo, but Wayne Sutton also has set up livestreaming for those of you who want to check out the Tweetup, but can’t attend. We’re pleased to announce that our three-week long tribute to Star Trek comes to a close with the release of our official set of icons from the feature film.
