There’s an old Klingon proverb that says “Revenge is a dish best served cold”. Somebody might want to tell that to Magma, the lava-hot villain from DC & Cartoon Network’s Batman Beyond. This week’s freeware release from Mindy features the scientist turned super villain who’s bent on torching Gotham, the Dark Knight and anyone else who gets in his way. If you love comics then head on over and download Magma for your Mac, PC or iPhone today. Just don’t get too close or your apt to get burned!

As many of you have probably figured out, we love making iPhone applications. So much so, that we have more projects waiting in the wings than we have workers to assemble them.
If you’re a kick-ass iPhone software developer who wants to work with some of the most talented designers in the industry, we’d love to hear from you. To show us what you’ve got we’d like to see your products in the App Store. We’re more interested in seeing promotion codes than r
Twitterrific Is PC Mag’s “Editor’s Choice”
July 8, 2009
We’re proud to announce that Twitterrific 2 for the iPhone has received a coveted four-star rating from the industry’s guide to technology, PC Magazine. Their full review for Twitterrific lists the iPhone social networking app as “Editor’s Choice” for tweeting on the iPhone and says that Twitterrific improves on Twitter.com’s feature set such as conversation threads and nearby searches.
Twitterrific has also picked up accolades from another Mac/iPhone site, The Mac Feed. Reviewers there call Twitterrific for the iPhone “The best app for Twitter by far” and tout Twitterrific’s support for multiple font sizes, trends and our helpful, online video tweetorials.
We’re gratified that Twitterrific has been received so well by the public and critics alike. The Iconfactory is currently in private beta testing for version 2.1 which will add a bevy of new features and bug fixes. More news on 2.1 as we approach its submission to the App Store, but in the meantime head on over and check out PC Mag’s or The Mac Feed’s reviews to find out why Twitterrific may be the right mobile Twitter app for you.
‘Twitpocalypse’ Affecting Twitterrific for iPhone
June 13, 2009
We apologize for problems that iPhone and iPod touch Twitterrific users are currently experiencing due to the so-called Twitpocalypse. A fix for these issues was included in the 2.0.1 release to the App Store weeks ago, but the application is indeed returning errors at this time. Proof that it’s sometimes difficult to test for errors / conditions that happen in the future.
We are investigating a fix to the bug as we speak, but it may take some time to get the fix completed and through the App Store approval process. We will do our best to expedite a new version that corrects these problems to you, but we ask that you please have patience and bear with us. The Mac desktop version of Twitterrific appears to be unaffected.
We ask you to follow @twitterrific for the latest news on a bug fix as well as when you can expect the fix to appear in the App Store. Lastly, please RT the link to this status message to help us get the word out if you are so inclined. Thank you.
UPDATE: Version 2.0.2 that restores normal function to Twitterrific was submitted to the Apple App Store at 6pm est. We’re unsure when this update will become publicly available, but will do what we can to expedite it’s approval. Thanks once again for your patience.
UPDATE II: The free version of Twitterrific 2.0.2 has been approved and is now propagating through the App Store. It will take some time before all time zones see the update, but it has been released. We’re still waiting on approval for the Premium version, but at the very least, Premium users can download the free app as a work around until it hits the store. Our thanks to Apple for their speedy response to helping us get 2.0.2 out the door!
UPDATE III: Twitterrific Premium 2.0.2 received App Store approval today (6.16) and should begin appearing in iTunes later today. We once again thank all of our users, both free and paid, for their patience and support during this critical period. We also extend our thanks to Apple for their generous help in getting these revisions out the door in record time. Whew!
