Ged’s been on an icon kick lately and is pleased to announce that one of his favorite sets, Ancient Petroglyphs from 2003, has now been updated with large resources for Leopard and Vista. The newly updated icon set can be downloaded for Mac or Windows or as a handy searchable CandyBar iContainer. If you enjoy primitive art, or bold graphic icons, then this is the set for you. Enjoy.

‘Twitpocalypse’ Affecting Twitterrific for iPhone
June 13, 2009
We apologize for problems that iPhone and iPod touch Twitterrific users are currently experiencing due to the so-called Twitpocalypse. A fix for these issues was included in the 2.0.1 release to the App Store weeks ago, but the application is indeed returning errors at this time. Proof that it’s sometimes difficult to test for errors / conditions that happen in the future.
We are investigating a fix to the bug as we speak, but it may take some time to get the fix completed and through the App Store approval process. We will do our best to expedite a new version that corrects these problems to you, but we ask that you please have patience and bear with us. The Mac desktop version of Twitterrific appears to be unaffected.
We ask you to follow @twitterrific for the latest news on a bug fix as well as when you can expect the fix to appear in the App Store. Lastly, please RT the link to this status message to help us get the word out if you are so inclined. Thank you.
UPDATE: Version 2.0.2 that restores normal function to Twitterrific was submitted to the Apple App Store at 6pm est. We’re unsure when this update will become publicly available, but will do what we can to expedite it’s approval. Thanks once again for your patience.
UPDATE II: The free version of Twitterrific 2.0.2 has been approved and is now propagating through the App Store. It will take some time before all time zones see the update, but it has been released. We’re still waiting on approval for the Premium version, but at the very least, Premium users can download the free app as a work around until it hits the store. Our thanks to Apple for their speedy response to helping us get 2.0.2 out the door!
UPDATE III: Twitterrific Premium 2.0.2 received App Store approval today (6.16) and should begin appearing in iTunes later today. We once again thank all of our users, both free and paid, for their patience and support during this critical period. We also extend our thanks to Apple for their generous help in getting these revisions out the door in record time. Whew!
WWDC and Thee
June 5, 2009

Amidst the ever-increasing cacophony of iPhone rumors, our attention turns once again to Apple’s World Wide Developer Conference in San Francisco, CA. Like the annual migration of swallows returning to San Juan Capistrano, Moscone Center calls to Mac geeks far and wide to congregate, party and oh yes, learn something.
This year, the Iconfactory is sending a new initiate to the conference, our very own Anthony Piraino. Anthony will join the usual crew of Craig and Corey to puzzle out the latest iPhone APIs, compete for title of WWDC fashion king, and eat sub-par boxed lunches.
The guys will be sure to be hanging around with our friend and development partner Wolfgang Ante of ARTIS Software, as well as the talented crew from DS Media Labs. If you follow the Iconfactory on Twitter, than you already know we’ve been working with the DS guys on our “next big thing”, a new game for the iPhone called Ramp Champ. We can’t say too much about this exciting new software just yet, but if you’ll be at WWDC, find one of the IF or DS guys and whisper the secret phrase to them – “I’m a Ramp Champ, not a Ramp Gramp!” If you repeat the phrase correctly, they’ll give you a quick one-on-one demo of the game, making you the envy of all your friends and relatives.
We wish all the developers attending WWDC a safe and eventful journey. If the fates smile upon us, we’ll learn about a brand new iPhone, get Snow Leopard details and hear from Steve Jobs himself. A Mac geek can dream!
The Emperor’s New Groove Desktops – Boom Baby!
June 2, 2009
Without a doubt, one of our favorite Disney animated flicks is the irreverent, off-beat comedy ‘The Emperor’s New Groove’. The film tells the tale of Emperor Kuzco who is turned into a llama by the evil Yzma, and his adventure to become human again.
Although plagued with a troubled production history, the film went on to become one of the funniest and most unique movies Walt Disney has ever released. Artist Louie Mantia is proud to bring some of the most memorable motifs from the story to life in the form of 3 new wallpapers for your computer desktop and iPhone.
Join Kuzco, Kronk and Yzma for A Diabolical Dinner, admire the Meso-America motifs of Kuzcotopia or just plaster the emperor’s giant face on your desktop. But that’s not all, our next freeware release will conclude our tribute to ‘The Emperor’s New Groove’ with a fun icon collection from Ged featuring all your favorite characters. In the meantime, Squeek squeeken squeek! That’s chipmunk for “Enjoy these cool desktops today!”
