Being the TV junkies we are, it comes as no surprise that we’re all hyped up for the start of season 11 of one of our favorite shows – The Amazing Race. This time out the producers have assembled the show’s “brightest stars” in the hopes of recapturing some of the audience that started to wane after the dreaded ‘Family Edition’ aired in 2005 / 2006.

So you might ask why do we love the Amazing Race so much? The real question is what’s not to love about the show? Amazing Race continues to entertain and excite even when other so-called reality series like Survivor have gone on way past their prime. We love watching Phil give the last team on the mat the super psyche-out when he tells them its a non-elimination round. We love the challenges, getting a glimpse at unique cultures and rooting for the underdogs. Teams with tons of heart like Charla & Mirna and David & Mary are usually favorites around the factory floor. We’ll miss the absence of the “Hippies” this time out and will be sincerely rooting against Rob & ‘Ambah’ in our inter-office pool, but any way you cut it, this latest dash around the globe is sure to be good TV. “Travel safe. Ready… set… GO!”
