Anthony locked himself away in the basement print lab with some etching materials and a copy of CandyBar 3 and told us he wasn’t coming out until he had something special just for you. We’re pleased to report that he’s emerged and brought an all-new copy of his popular Litho System with him, now with 512×512 sizes for Mac OS X, Leopard!

But wait, Anthony says if you “act now” you’ll also get a special free CandyBar 3 iContainer complete with a ultra-distressed Litho style dock that will make you envy of all the cool kids. With an offer like that, can you really afford to stand around when you could be downloading the new Litho System for Leopard and Vista right now? We didn’t think so either, so go get it and happy holidays!

UPDATE: For a complete Litho overhaul, you can download a few brand-new Litho desktop pictures (2.6 MB .zip file) – four colors in fullscreen, widescreen, and iPhone formats. Enjoy!

It’s taken over four years, but this week Futurama marks its long-awaited return to the small screen in the form of Bender’s Big Score on DVD. To mark the occasion of Bender, Fry, Leela and the Professor’s return to our living rooms, Ged has worked hard to bring you volume 5 in his series of icons based on the show.

Futurama Volume 5 – Heads In Jars, has 16 of your favorite celebrities like William Shatner, Lucy Lui, Al Gore, George Takei and many others. But that’s not all, not by a long shot! Futurama Vol. 5’s iContainer includes a custom Leopard Dock built with a technology not yet available here on Earth. Okay, that’s not true, it was made for the newly released CandyBar 3 from Panic. We got a little carried away there, sorry.

And of course, what GUI makeover would be complete without a futuristic desktop? That’s right, Ged’s also got a hilarious Futurama wallpaper just for you – The Krokermite Maneuver, based on the classic Futurama episode, Where No Fan Has Gone Before.

So with all this Groening goodness going on, don’t just sit there, head on over and download Futurama Vol. 5, and the desktop today. Come to think of it, all the previous versions of Futurama have also been recently updated for Leopard with 512×512 resources too, so put those cable modems to good use and get downloading while we enjoy the new movie on DVD. Have fun!

From the start, you could tell they were meant to be together. Pixadex, our intuitive and familiar icon organizer, and CandyBar, our safe and cheerful icon customization utility, always worked hand-in-hand to transform your desktop into a place you could call home. Now, thanks to the power of modern computerized technology, unthinkable magic has happened: these two apps have been joined into one!

Introducing CandyBar 3, only for Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. And now, with Pixadex’s feature set built right into CandyBar, users can import, organize and search huge numbers of icons quickly and easily, making it super simple to find just the right icon.

But wait, there’s more! CandyBar 3 goes even further, allowing users to even customize the look of the Leopard dock, just by simply dragging and dropping new images from the Finder. Better still, specially marked iContainers, now available right here at the Iconfactory, even include built-in replacement Docks, usable with a single click. Go check them out!

With a brand new interface, 512×512 icon support, Quick Look integration in the Finder, super fast icon loading and browsing, improved smart collections, and much more, this is truly an upgrade to be reckoned with.
